Tor worked with interior designer Nicola Harding to provide soft furnishings for this unique boutique pub with rooms. The Royal Oak sits proudly at the heart of the small, picturesque village of Ramsden in West Oxfordshire where it has served as a coaching inn and public house for almost 250 years. Sympathetic to its history and to its story, the Grade II listed building has been restored and refreshed throughout while retaining the essence of a traditional, local village pub.

Tor worked to create comfortable seating areas in the all the dining areas, intimate curtains in the private dining room and cosy snug and five boutique bedrooms. From railway carriage bunk beds with curtains to enclose to simple four poster drapery, the result is a unique characterful place steeped in history but with comforts of the modern day.
